I discovered this work by an amazing artist in Ukraine, Oleysa Hudyma.
I love her work - in particular this Angel of Peace painting. In reaching out to her, I learned that she could use support financially in this time of war. I knew I could help. (you can read an update of her situation below)

Update on the artist
Oleysa fled to western Ukraine with her children. She had to leave all of her paintings (over 200) created since 2007 and all her supplies. She is trying not to think of the tragic scenarios that might happen and prays she will be able to return. Our prayers are with her.

Update August 2022 from Oleysa...

"I am in Italy now, I had to move here because of my toddlers, they where becoming more and more neurasthenic and losing their sleep because of possible bombardments. If not for good people that help us here - it would be very hard. Painting is my daily bread, I don't know if I could get through all this without it." [she said the people there found her a small studio and some art supplies]

This was such good news as I've worried about her often. I also know rebuilding a life and having sufficient art supplies is costly. Please continue to help me support her. Marcy
